Tetsuko - Merch Art 01

I drew this several years ago for a line of merchandise at Cafepress - T-shirts, keychains, mousepad and wall clock. (I think I might have sold two shirts.)

This is a redrawn version of My favorite Tetsuko drawing; I thought I'd "improve" the drawing by fixing a few of the things I thought could be improved in the original drawing (like wider hips); I also thought she needed a bikini top that fit better. But when I was done, I found that I still liked the original better. Still, I figured that the newer art better reflected my style at the time, so I used this art in the Cafepress merchandise.

A couple of years ago, I also started a store at TeePublic, because it offered better artist margins. For the T-shirts I sell there, I decided to do a re-tracing of the first drawing, keeping it as close to the original as possible (except for the better-fitting bikini).
