Interesting. I think seeing this particular ep of the Original Star Trek & Shahna made my voice start to change as a lad. 
Maybe showing her & Sonya as members of the female Jaffa ( From one of the later season episodes of Stargate SG - 1 ) or as a more muscular version of Teya Emmagen - Rachel Luttrell's character from Stargate : Atlantis - Would be an interesting move. Or Suzanne Ivanova from " Babylon 5 ".
